Transitioning in-house as Commercial and Privacy Counsel at Mixpanel — a venture-backed, late-stage data analytics company — sharpened an understanding of how legal advice lands in practice. Negotiating enterprise SaaS agreements, building contract workflows, and managing GDPR compliance across APAC and EMEA regions developed a business-first approach that stays with every engagement today.

In Singapore, serving in an executive position at HM Strategy provided a further dimension: advising early-stage startups and acting as external general counsel in the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, as a Compliance Lead Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the work took on a uniquely regulatory lens — conducting examinations of financial institutions and presenting supervisory findings to senior management and regulatory bodies expanding the repertoire of stakeholder management and strategic corporate governance work.

A career grounded in Big Law began at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, advising public and private companies on corporate, securities, and regulatory matters, including M&A and capital markets transactions, and drafting and negotiating transactional and disclosure documents alongside cross-functional deal teams.

From there, a move to Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian LLP as a Corporate Associate broadened that foundation — advising clients on securities, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance matters throughout the business lifecycle, and serving as day-to-day legal contact for clients coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.

Serving as Senior Corporate Counsel (Contract) at Citigroup, Inc., the work took on a regulated financial services lens — advising broker-dealer and regulated financial services entities on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters, and maintaining oversight of entity governance, corporate records, and regulatory obligations across 80+ domestic and international entities.
